Deliberation Falls Church City, or
DFCCVA, is an online community forum, and an offline one that meets publicly twice a year. It aims
to build civic participation by giving people young and old a chance to be heard,
and a reason to listen. Supporting organizations include the American Association of University Women, Citizens for a Better City, the League of Women Voters and the Village Preservation and Improvement Society. George Mason High School students will serve as moderators of DFCCVA's small group discussions.
DFCCVA's first meeting will be on Saturday March 17, 2007 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, at a location in Falls Church City. To register, click here. For a press release, click here. You can vote on the topic we should discuss, or add your two cents on what it should be, right here on this site. To learn more about DFCCVA or to volunteer to help, please read the continuation of this post. Thanks for paying a visit.

global climate is warming and that this climate change will have significant
