1 By Youth Manassas – the April 24, 2010 event that is supported by some of those who took part in our Neighborhood Improvement Circle in Georgetown South -- was mentioned in the Washington Post today – in an article about the Mayor’s State of the City address:
The Manassas Neighborhood Services Department was also busy, winning state and national awards. In April, the department will welcome about 1,200 volunteers who will construct trails, clean buildings and beautify the Georgetown South neighborhood. The city was one of two in the country -- the other being Indianapolis -- selected by the nonprofit group 1 By Youth for this one-day improvement project.
